While outdoor entertaining has always been a way of life in Australia, a revolution is underway that is changing how we live: architects, interior designers and builders are increasingly incorporating indoor-outdoor zones into house plans, making the outside an extension of the principal construction.
Metricon has a number of display homes that offer a sense of sophistication to this – the Imperial at Balwyn is a great example as too is the Lindrum at Keysborough both of these designs showcase a real flair and sense of amalgamation.
Or for our regional friends – the Byron at Bairnsdale sees the traditional back door giving way to sweeping, transparent walls and doors that invite the outside in – providing a seamless extension to the property as a whole. At Metricon we are all about total living space.
