Kitchen’s have come a long way over the past decade. What was once considered just a place to prepare meals – is now the focal point of many new homes. So what are customers wanting in a kitchen.
According to Metricon’s Studio m Manager- Tamara - gloss finishes are in high demand.
“Gloss finishes are continuing to be popular with our customer’s. This type of finish adds a real contemporary, modern feel to the kitchen. It is also a surface that is easy to maintain.
A trend we are also seeing move of is the integration of appliances into the kitchen. Now, more than ever, the kitchen is considered the hub of the home and is a great place to entertain guests – should you have the right set up. By integrating appliances such as a coffee machine – can really accentuate the kitchen’s functionality and give the kitchen a streamlined effect.
When servicing customers in Studio m, we are finding that they are also carefully considering re-sale value of their home when choosing interiors. So by modernising the kitchen and really making use of the space – makes the home very appealing if you were to sell. A great example of this is the Nelson on display at Alamanda. This kitchen really captures these elements,” concluded Tamara.
