Mixing internal and external elements. We constantly here designers telling us it is important to keep the colour scheme consistent throughout your home. So what about replicating features?

Metricon Interior Designer – Jacinta – suggests replicating internal features externally helps bring consistency throughout the home.

“By complimenting internal features or colours somewhere externally is a great way to tie the two areas of a home together.

This is demonstrated well in the Byron at Alamanda. In this home you will notice a feature tiling in the ensuite, powder room and also outside above the pool.

This feature tiling is a nice way to bring to life the Balinese feel of the home. This adds a peaceful solitude feeling to this design and helps customers immediately feel relaxed upon entering.

Consistency is one of the most important things for customers to consider when entering our Studio m to pick their interiors. Customers need to have a solid idea of a colour scheme or theme you would like to capture within your home,” Jacinta concluded.
