To retreat or not to retreat?

Many home designs these days often forget about offering the adult’s of the home. According to Metricon Product Design Manager – Adrian – the Lindrum’s layout lends itself well to a private retreat for parent’s to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main living areas.

“The Lindrum is a great family design. It has everything a family could ever dream of in a home. There is an area for the kids to play, the integrated living spaces surrounding the kitchen and the private retreat for mum and dad.

This private retreat is located at the rear of the home where the secondary master suite opens up onto. It is a perfect space to relax and read the paper in the early, or maybe on a nice summer night enjoy a glass of wine to wind down from work.

Alternatively the space is big enough to be transformed into a play area for children. We have designed this area to include comfortable furniture and a coffee table but the room can easily be converted into a space that is fun for the kids with bright colours and plenty of comfortable and colourful furniture for both relaxation and playing.
