A bathroom brimming with luxury

It is easy to disregard your bathroom. There isn’t a lot of space to work with. Toilet paper and toothbrushes are not the most inspirational of objects.

However a luxurious bathroom is not restricted to that 5 star hotel or high end spa resort. Those fluffy towels, gorgeous vases and scented candles can be ever present in a bathroom you will be proud to call your own.

Use those luxury spa resorts as your inspiration but don’t lose sight of practicality. Storage space is vital for any bathroom to remain functional. Stylish options are available. A beautiful wicker basket is the perfect accessory. Place it in the corner with a few towels rolled in neatly. Instead this might even be the home for your toilet rolls.

Utilize your space by incorporating an inverted shelf in the shower. Embedded in a tiled feature wall this is a fantastic place to carry your soap and shower gels. It doesn’t jut out and creates a clean sleek feel.

Use a dark timber ladder as a place to hang your towels. This adds a bit of cheek and again utilizes the space. Using an elongated object (such as a ladder) will make the ceiling feel as if it is soaring above you.

It’s the small touches that make the biggest difference. Keep the bathroom benches clean and void of any clutter. Use your draws and cupboard space to your advantage and use the bathroom benches to brighten the room and create some flair. Add a vase for a splash of colour. Compliment this with the colour scheme of your towels. It is your choice whether you want to add a plant. A bit of nature in an otherwise sterile environment may be the perfect touch.
